Those same ugly women have to date men who are in their league. An ugly person doesn’t get pretty just because others can’t get laid. I’d probably prefer to marry an ugly woman. Because statistically if a married a hot woman she’d be more likely to cheat or divorce because they get so much attention from other men and they can’t resist it. You'll see these occurences on a daily basis.
Ask yourself, what they do different. I think this was common back in the day, culture was different though. People were much more encouraged to marry. And the majority of those men get only a 1% response rate or less. If an ugly woman wants a date she can have one in 5 minutes of trying on tinder. But they don’t want just any date.
