Love the safariland retention system but cant seem to find similar holsters for all my guns. I use the gcode rti wheels to mount my holsters and like it. Recently upgraded to the wheels with leg strap. I use garret industries silent thunder holsters for my non safariland supported guns. Ill use a lanyard for retention in those cases.
Looking at switching up my setup for my sig p320 full size. I know which holster i want. But i’m trying to figure out the best mid ride setup. To drop the sidearm below my plate carrier and pack belt. The best setup is a safariland holster with the gcode duty belt/whatever mount that you simply get the safariland conversion piece for. Safariland's mounting system sticks out too far and is just weird to work with whereas gcode really shines there, and safariland makes a vastly superior holster. Safariland als holsters lock on the ejection port. There is no way to have one holster fit both the 509 and a glock, they have different dimensions. You will need one for each. The barrel axis on the 44 is lower in the slide, and of course is a smaller diameter. It will work in.
